This gem of a family-owned restaurant is very near the entrance to Noccalula Falls - a great place for supper after a hike. I was there late on a Sunday evening, and was seated immediately. The decor subtly generates an atmosphere of Thailand's culture and traditions. The menu has a good selection of traditional Thai dishes and - surprisingly - a vegan section, something I have rarely seen. Although tempted by many items, I decided on classic Pad Thai with tofu with jasmine tea. Both arrived soon and we're delicious. This is a restaurant I hope to visit again.
Food was good. I got drunken rice with beef and shrimp. Wife got drunken noodles with chicken. We got egg rolls for an appetizer. All food was good. Service was good. That place is jumping. We will go back.
Food was excellent. Everyone like what they got. I had the garlic pepper chicken. Server led me correctly on the 2-3 peppers for spice level. Server was great he stayed on top of drinks well. Highly recommend trying it
Fantastic Thai restaurant. I had the drunken fried rice from their Vegan menu with tofu and basil. It was so good! You can pick your own spice level. I got level 3 and it was perfectly spicy for me. You have to try their coconut cake. It's so good and moist.
We recently were in town visiting our family nearby, and this place came up in our discussion of good places we should try. We were really, really impressed with Kati Thai as soon as we came in the door. The atmosphere and decor was nice and the waitress was very pleasant as well. We got a dinner portion, Pad Thai, and a lunch special chicken fried rice. Both were priced reasonably and tasted delicious. We were really happy that we came here!! Can't wait to come back in the future.
Just stopped by for lunch and the Masaman Curry is by far the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely be back my next trip to Gadsden!
I was looking for something for dinner that was local to the area since I am visiting and happened to be near Kati Thai Cuisine so decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. This is not a large establishment but they use their space well. I enjoyed the atmosphere they created, it was warm and inviting. I asked my server for recommendations on appetizers and she told me her favorite, The basil wraps which I decided to try and they were exquisite. For dinner I ordered the garlic and black pepper chicken and it was very good as well. The staff came around a refill drinks and a check on the meal and was overall very courteous and professional. I really enjoyed my stop here and will have to come back next time I am in the area.
I am so extremely thankful to have this wonderful restaurant in our area! After spending a month in Thailand, I LOVE Thai food! I find Thai restaurants everywhere we go and Kati Thai is top notch on flavor, price, and their service can’t be beat! I just wish they were open all the time! Eat here! You will not regret it!
